the community development and empowerment foundation organised a mini event of distribution of some essential items for marraige of some poor boys and girls of the community. The event was attended by some respected dignitaries of the community in addition to the executive body of the society. The event was also attended by some donors and some religious scholars including Hujjatul Islam Aga Syed Liyaqat Mosvi. "The event was in continuation to the previously arranged mega events of mass marriages of some poor boys and girls of our valley. Acting upon the SOPs of the COVID19, we could not arrange a mega event but we decided to deliver the essential items like dress material, cosmetics, beddings, utensils and other related items to the doorsteps of these needy people." said the chairman of the organisation Mr. S.M.Rafeeq. "The number of distress calls are in thousands but our resources are limited", he added. The chairman also expressed his gratitude to the people who have been donating time and again in both cash and kind. Pertinently, the organisation is also engaged in helping the common people by providing food kits, medicine for chronic diseases like CA, Kidney failure etc besides providing them sound counselling. The members of the organisation requested everyone to join hands and donate generously for this noble cause.
